Living In Abundance

Jesus paid the price for us to experience the God kind of life – a life where every need is met. Jesus said in John 10:10, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Regardless of how good things are right now, it can always be better. God wants His highest and best for His children.

In order to walk in this truth, it is very important to have the right attitude. Things will always get better if we stay positive. Attitude will always determine our “altitude”. Jesus knew this and encouraged His followers in John 16:33 to “be of good cheer.” The Apostle Paul declared in Romans 8:37, “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

As believers, we must possess certain attitudes to experience the overflowing life that we now have in Christ. Being apathetic and negative is not the attitude we should display as we go through our day. God wants us to take advantage of what Christ has done for us.

In order to experience this overflowing life, we must speak God’s Word every day. There is power in the Word and faithfully declaring it will not only affect our attitudes but we will also begin to see ourselves as God sees us. When we see ourselves as blessed, prosperous, and successful on the inside, it will be evident on the outside and we will experience the abundant life which Christ has provided.
