Living Life With Purpose

Living Life With Purpose by Sherry Jones
God has a plan and a purpose for our lives. God has things for us to do. We will never discover God’s plan for our life in a natural way. We cannot imagine or comprehend the things which God has prepared for us naturally. This is a supernatural process where your faith will be required. The scripture says, “But God hath revealed them unto us by his spirit: for the spirit searcheth all things, yea the deep things of God” (1 Corinthians 2:10).
Although it wasn’t easy, the Apostle Paul fulfilled God’s plan for his life. He had some mountains, people, situations, and circumstances to deal with, but he saw his life through the eye of faith. He took hold of what God showed him and refused to let it go. When the Word didn’t look like it was working in his life, he was not moved by what he saw or heard in the natural realm. He believed God’s Word. Paul was full of faith.
No matter how long it takes or what kind of obstacles or barriers you may face, don’t let go of God’s will for your life. Believe it and speak it out. Faith must be spoken. God is a faith God and He “calls those things that be not as though they were” (Romans 4:17). God changed Abram’s name to Abraham which means “a father of a multitude.” He also changed his wife’s name to Sarah which means “a mother of nations.” God changed their names so that they could declare who God said that they were. The speaking part of faith is essential.
God’s purpose for your life is to be a blessing. Knowing God’s will for your life and doing it means that you are not here by accident or simply occupying space. You have a purpose!
