Joint Heirs With Christ

You are an heir of God and joint heir with Christ. You need to ask the question, “Am I living like an heir?” You are God’s child and Jesus Christ has left you a glorious inheritance. But how do you find out what belongs to you? An inheritance is usually stated in a will. The Word of God is the will of God and the Bible tells you what you have inherited. The Word says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3). He has already blessed you, but it is up to you to receive those promised blessings. No one is going to force you to receive your inheritance in Christ. It is up to you to receive what belongs to you.

Some people think that they only get an inheritance from God when they die. The truth is that you got an inheritance from God when Jesus died. You are a joint heir with Jesus. The scripture declares in Colossians 1:12, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.” You don’t have to wait until you get to Heaven to receive your inheritance. You have it now in Jesus’ Name.

Healing, prosperity, victory, and success are all part of your inheritance. When you have this revelation in your heart, you’ll experience the good things of God. There will be no defeat in your life because you know that you are special, hand-picked, and set apart by God. So go to the Word of God and meditate on these scriptures. Find out what belongs to you and ask God to reveal it to you. Once it becomes revelation, no one can take it from you. You are an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus Christ.
