Steps of Faith

During times of adversity, there is always something that we can do that will turn the tables on the enemy. One of the most important aspects to consider is to recognize that we control our response. We need to remind ourselves that we always have a choice. We can choose to be angry or joyful; full of peace or full of fear.

We must train ourselves to listen to our spirit and not our head. It is never a good idea to make decisions based on how we feel, because our emotions will take us up and down, and ultimately, all over the place. The Holy Spirit dwells within our Spirit to guide and direct us. Instead of caving in under the pressure, we take our petition to God, where we release our faith and talk to God like He is our best friend.

We must have courageous faith that speaks to mountains and believes God’s word. Courage is a decision, not a feeling. When we step out in faith, God steps out with us. As believers, we must always remember who we are in Christ. God the Father does not see you and me like anyone else sees us. Our circumstances do not determine who we are. We are who God says we are!

The devil never wants us to be successful, but as we respond in faith and courage, we will always experience God’s best and walk in the blessings of God.
